Sunrise Productions was founded in 2021 by Philip Buchanan and Paul Lawrence, both seasoned professionals with deep roots in the music industry. Their journey began at the Black Music Association and Kongo Records, the label behind the UK’s number one soul recording artist, Omar. Philip Buchanan, who managed Omar and served as the Managing Director at Kongo Records, and Paul Lawrence, the Promotions Manager, combined their extensive experience to create Sunrise Productions.

Our team has collaborated with a diverse array of talented artists, including Vanessa Simon, Victor Haynes, Sinclair,Scratch Professor UK, Root Jackson FBI, and Keith Harris from Stevie Wonder’s management team. We have also worked with legends like Alton Ellis, the rocksteady king, and notable labels such as Jet Star Records, Groove And Quarter Records, home to the reggae group The Administrators, i2 Music Group, and Natural Mystic, a UK lovers rock reggae band.
